Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to read this site, call us and get to the studio. This page sets out what we did to make the site accessible, what is still limited and who to contact when something does not work.
Which standard the site follows
The site was built to the guidelines of Israeli Standard 5568, which is based on the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, at level AA. This is the level that the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Accessibility Adjustments for Service) Regulations require of websites.
We tested the site with automated tools and by navigating it with a keyboard. Automated testing does not catch every problem, so if you come across something that does not work, please tell us and we will fix it.
What we adapted on the site
- You can use the entire site with a keyboard alone, and every page has a skip link at the top that goes straight to the content.
- Every page has one main heading and an orderly heading structure, so screen reader users can navigate by headings.
- Images have text descriptions. Decorative background images are marked so that screen readers skip them.
- Text and button colors meet a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1.
- The site adapts to phones and tablets, and you can zoom in your browser without content being cut off.
- Fields in the contact form have labels, and error messages are written out in text.
- The site has no flashing content and no video that plays by itself. There are no time limits.
What is still limited
- The map on the contact page is a Google component that we do not control. The address, phone numbers and opening hours are written next to it in plain text.
- Links to Instagram, WhatsApp and Google Maps lead to external sites, and their accessibility depends on those sites.
- Some images are photographs of artworks. Their descriptions say what the photo shows and do not replace the artwork itself.
Accessibility at the studio
The studio is at 29 Derech Beit Lehem in Baka, Jerusalem, in an old stone building. Before you come, please call us at 02-6714005 and we will explain how to get in and how we can help. You can also get advice and a price quote by phone, WhatsApp or email without coming in.
Contact us about accessibility
If a page, image or button on this site is not accessible to you, write to us or call. Tell us which page it was and which browser you were using, and we will take care of it.
