Adriana Nave

Born in Mendoza, Argentina, she moved to Israel in 1985, lived for years in Baka, Jerusalem, and now lives in Tel Aviv.

Adriana Nave studied art, trained and worked with the painter Kalman Shemi, and has shown in many exhibitions in Israel and abroad. Some of her best work hangs on our studio walls, including original canvases, serigraphs on wood and prints, all signed and numbered by her.

Jerusalem's interior designers know they'll find a wide selection of her paintings here, along with framing chosen to suit both their clients and Adriana's rich, colorful work.

She builds her collages on her own urban photographs, taken in places around the world, with abstract figures in the background. Her color combinations leave a strong impression. Adriana paints with a large palette knife, and in recent years her pieces have grown large, made on aluminum and acrylic with layers of lacquer.
